The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra is offering up to four free tickets to BYSO students for themselves and their families for their opening night concert on October 8! Guest artist Robyn Bollinger will be playing Mozart’s 5th violin concerto. She will also be offering a FREE masterclass at CSUB on October 7th from 4:00-5:30 PM. Robyn Bollinger has recently been hired as Detroit Symphony's concertmaster, and is the youngest concertmaster in the United States. To apply for tickets, click on the button below.

The Bakersfield Youth Symphony Orchestra remains an affiliated group of the Bakersfield Symphony, operating under its board of directors with able assistance from manager Brent Williams. It is comprised of students ranging in age from seventh grade through their first year of undergraduate college. This audition-only ensemble attracts highly-motivated and talented young students and performs high-level orchestral repertoire. Under the musical direction of Maxim Eshkenazy, the Bakersfield Youth Symphony Orchestra performs three concerts per year.
